Annie Zean Dunbar (Zean), is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs and consultant with the Geffner Group. Zean has worked on applied research for large-scale change projects for CB Vision Consultants and Newpoint Healthcare Advisors. She is a research consultant and program facilitator in the academic and private sectors.
Zean’s expertise as a research scientist is in mixed-methods research on education, healthcare administration, refugee resettlement within the fields of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, and Forced Migration Studies. For the last five years Zean has worked on an NIH funded research project to create an Indigenous Health digital archive. Her current research focus is on developing an innovative approach to migration support for social service providers. She is a creator and facilitator for the first Mutual Aid Fellowship at the University of Denver, and a teaching-artist and community-engaged scholar.
Zean received her Ph.D. and MSW from the University of Colorado, Denver.
